Amazon adds new local payment methods in Latin America

Amazon Prime Video is now available to Paraguayan customers with monthly memberships that can be paid in Guaranies through dLocal and Bancard.

San Francisco, December 7th 2020. dLocal, the leading cross-border payments platform for emerging markets,and Bancard today announced that they have enabled payment with cards in local currency for all Paraguayan customers who subscribe to Amazon Prime Video. Amazon Prime Video offers an extensive catalog of original series, films, documentaries and, children’s content with both subtitles and dubbing in Spanish.

dLocal’s single integration platform allows local customers with a Prime Video subscription to pay in Guaranies through credit or debit cards issued by certified local financial institutions, such as (all) Bancard cards, with no currency fluctuations.
