MIAMI and MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay — October, 3, 2023 DLocal Limited (“dLocal,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) (Nasdaq: DLO), a technology-first payments platform enabling global enterprise merchants to connect with billions of consumers in emerging markets, today announced that Justo Benetti has been appointed SVP Head of Americas, effective immediately. Benetti, who most recently served as VP Strategic Solutions at Worldpay, will work with Chief Revenue Officer John O’Brien in realizing the firm’s ambitious vision for growth across the Americas.

Mr. Benetti has invaluable experience in scaling a global pay-in’s and pay-out’s solution, contributing to Worldpay’s exponential growth in nine years with the company. His work in the fintech world exposed Benetti to the array of payment options that providers of all sizes must offer as part of their expansion strategy to attract consumers in emerging markets globally. “With so many merchants already on the platform, dLocal is a perfect ecosystem for businesses across Americas that are increasingly catering to a diverse, worldly consumer that expects every transaction to be safe, localized, speedy, and convenient,” said Benetti.

“As we scale operations in this rapidly globalizing market, Justo’s level of experience in Latin America and with high-frequency brands is a tremendous asset,” said dLocal Co-CEO Sebastian Kanovich. “As a leader, he has an eye for talent and a motivating presence that helps our team think through merchant problems and contribute on a higher level. Justo has proven he is an impactful contributor to North American business development from his past roles which provides a huge opportunity for dLocal’s continued ecommerce growth in the Americas and LATAM.”

Last week Benetti made his debut at the dLocal Connect event in London. He will next appear on behalf of dLocal at Money 20/20 in Las Vegas in October.
